I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional specializing in the areas of anxiety, grief, trauma, relationships and life transitions. I am also a neurodivergent affirming therapist, and am passionate about working with neurodivergent adults, including highly sensitive individuals, and parents to neurodivergent and high needs children.
I do not feel there is a “one size fits all” approach to therapy, and tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches during sessions. All are strength-based, collaborative, and research backed, offering practical strategies and focusing on what you need from therapy that week. I show up in each of my sessions authentically through warmth, humor, and openness. The relationships with my clients are my top priority. I am currently considered an Out-of-Network provider with all insurance plans. I care about your privacy and am dedicated to tailoring my work to the needs of my clients. The restrictions of insurance can make it difficult to do that, and I strongly believe therapy should not be dictated by insurance requirements. You can still use your insurance! I will provide you with a receipt (a "superbill") that most plans allow you to submit for reimbursement. If you have questions about this process, please reach out.
