Do you often feel anxious? Do you have a hard time dealing with the negative thoughts in your

head? Are you struggling with your self-esteem and want to feel more confident? Are you finding it difficult to handle all the “stuff” life throws at you in a positive way? If any of these experiences resonate with you, I am here to support you. We all need a place to open up and be treated with compassion and empathy, but at the same time challenged to create change. I can offer you this space by establishing a safe, non-judgmental environment and by collaboratively working on goals to achieve a healthier way of living.

My current education and life experiences have prepared me to counsel those experiencing a variety of concerns. I do not think one technique or theory fits all, which is why I take an integrative approach. I mainly subscribe to the ideas of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, multiculturalism, and focusing on strengths to make you feel heard and connect you with your concerns, experiences, and identities.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia, and am currently seeking a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. I am supervised by Shannon Graves, LPC, at Falls Church Wellness Center. As a graduate-level intern, I am not covered by insurance but work at a reduced rate. I look forward to the possibility of walking alongside you during this journey.
