Christina Tosto, LCSW

Whether you are struggling in a current relationship or have difficult experiences from the past, I believe that our interactions with others inform how we view ourselves and how we function in the world. My approach is strongly relational. I believe healing is found in a meaningful therapeutic relationship and by examining relational patterns that exist in all of our lives. I also draw on skills-based theories for maximum efficacy. I work with individuals to find a path toward recovery, and move beyond survival to embrace truly fulfilling lives.

My specialty is treating adults who are struggling with relationship challenges, low self-esteem, trauma (PTSD, Complex PTSD, Dissociative Disorders), anxiety / depression, eating disorders, and self-harmful behaviors. I am particularly interested in the mind body connection and enhancing mental health as a critical aspect of overall health. I am an open-minded, non-judgmental, collaborative therapist that believes in meeting people where they are and finding the strengths inside each of us.
