I strongly believe in the importance of the mind-body connection and believe that the mind plays a significant roll in helping the body to heal itself. I aim to help each client find and utilize the tools to reinforce that self-healing ability, and your physical therapy sessions will focus not only on the body part that is injured, but also on the multitude of other factors that contribute to optimum healing: quality sleep, good nutrition, stress relief, creative outlets, and overall quality of life.
You will receive one-on-one care that is specific to your individual needs and your customized treatment plan will include any or all of the following:
Movement & gait assessment
Strengthening and flexibility exercises
Personal training for injury prevention or post-injury conditioning
Trigger point dry needling (coming soon)

I also work with clients to reduce weight and increase energy. I do this without using powders or weight loss pills. In my weight loss program I teach people how to eat and combine real foods in a way that optimizes fat burning and restores energy. The program is based in education and leaves the client with all the tools necessary to live a long and energetic life with minimal or no pharmaceutical interventions.
Dr. Booth is an all-around avid athlete, but she has a strong passion for yoga. Six years ago, she traveled to Bali to study yoga and acquire her teaching certificate. Since then, she has been working with clients recovering from various injuries and medical procedures. Yoga has proven to be a great supplement to acupuncture.
Dr. Booth takes great pride in her integrative approach to health by using acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition, supplements, movement therapy, and lifestyle coaching. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and their two dogs. When time allows, she enjoys teaching yoga, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family.
I specialize in eating for fat loss, which focuses on getting the proper ratio of protein, fat, and carbs without having to be super restrictive or count calories, as well as addressing hunger, energy and cravings. I guide my clients to find the food and lifestyle choices to best support them through gradual changes. Focusing on one thing at a time and building upon that, which creates true success. I not only address fat loss, but also many other issues that can get in the way of achieving our ultimate goals like easy cooking ideas/recipes, meal prep, sleep, energy levels, and health issues (acid reflux, IBS, constipation, or food sensitivities). I also focus on self-care, accountability, blood type, and metabolic typing. All of these elements come into play when it comes to good health and nutritional habits.

In 2013 I began studying Thai yoga (also called Thai massage), a long-time interest of hers that dovetails perfectly with her yoga offerings. Thai yoga is a powerful branch of traditional Thai medicine, blending acupressure, stretching and joint rotation to release tension in the muscles and create balance in the body. Thai Yoga is a great compliment to other holistic treatments such as traditional massage, acupuncture, and fitness and nutrition regiments. Benefits include: better posture and flexibility; reduced tension and tightness in muscles; improved lymphatic and digestive functioning; decreased sinus pressure and nasal congestion; increased emotional well-being.
Thai yoga sessions are offered in 60- or 90-minute sessions, for $95 and $145, respectively. For more information on how Thai yoga may benefit you, or to book a session, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 703.786.8861.
I apply yoga structurally to work with back, hip, knee, and shoulder issues, and have a special interest in working with chronic conditions that affect mobility (MS, Parkinson’s, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia). Yoga Therapy’s integrative focus on movement, breath and mindfulness can be of great benefit for these conditions. I apply Yoga Therapy to manage weight, high blood pressure, reduce anxiety and depression, and improve sleep.
The first yoga book I read over 25 years ago was called “Yoga Therapy for Common Ailments.” Since then I have sought to apply yoga to improve my own health, and that of people around me. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance, and a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) with International Association of Yoga Therapy. I am a senior yoga instructor at Sun and Moon Yoga Studio in Arlington, where I teach Gentle Yoga and Yoga Therapy workshops. I also have MA from University of Pennsylvania.
Initial Yoga Therapy Consultation: 75 min, $110. Subsequent Yoga Therapy sessions: 55 min, $95.
Home visits can be scheduled for those with limited mobility (please inquire about cost).
Yoga Therapy expenses can be reimbursable from your FSA/HSA (a letter from your medical practitioner will be needed).
As a Clinical Massage Therapist of 5 years, I specialize in pain-relief and emotional well-being by generating balance throughout the body. Clinical massage creatively combines and applies a range of techniques to assess and manually manipulate the soft tissues of the body. I will formulate a treatment strategy based on the client’s preferences, client history, and physical assessment to relieve specific complaints of pain and dysfunction associated with mental and physical stress. By creating a targeted therapeutic protocol for each client, I can determine the right treatment plan to get you on the path to feeling better physically, emotionally and mentally. The emotional balance of bodywork can often be just as valuable as the more tangible physical benefits making massage a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen.
The effects of massage therapy are progressive and are best when used as part of an overall strategy to promote wellness. Some of the major benefits of massage include lower blood pressure, reduction in chronic pain, relief to overused/achy muscles, increased range of motion, decrease in scar tissue buildup, improved posture, reduced anxiety, stress reduction and promoting quality sleep and improved productivity. Treatment plans may involve weekly sessions to jump-start your healing process or monthly sessions for preventative maintenance so you can work towards eliminating the pain cycle once and for all! Instead of a full body focus that takes time away from the area’s concerning you the most, I hope a more targeted approach will get you back to a happy, active and healthy lifestyle!
Health Savings (HSA) & Flex Spending (FSA) cards are accepted. A receipt with my NPI number will be provided on the date of service. Please refer to your health insurance policy to see if HSA & FSA can be used for massage therapy. Some insurance policies also require a prescription or letter of treatment plan from your General Care Physician, Chiropractor or Physical Therapist.
I was introduced to Usui Reiki after struggling with my own health challenges and living for many years with unrelenting daily pain. Over the years, I tried many healing modalities, but Reiki has given me the gift of combining Western medicine and complementary medicine to find relief from the chronic pain I experienced for so long. I am grateful to have found freedom from my pain in order to live a more fulfilled life. My focus now is to share Reiki with others with similar health challenges and assist them in achieving balance. I believe we all have the ability within us to heal, but often need someone to help us on our journey.
The majority of my clients are adults, but I also work with children and animals. I help clients with chronic pain, short term illnesses, depression, self-acceptance, and anxiety, among others. I teach individuals or groups that are interested in self Reiki or to help others and I co-teach a Reiki for Kids class in Fairfax, VA.
My chiropractic office is dedicated to helping patients identify the cause of their problems, not merely treat the symptoms. I also educate patients on solutions and on which options might work best for their chiropractic needs. This approach can range from pain management to overall wellness care.
I provide thorough consultations to understand your needs and goals, then design a chiropractic health program specifically designed to address your health concerns. I also enjoy teaching patients about spinal health, exercise and prevention, striving toward gentle chiropractic techniques.
I am extremely enthusiastic to be a part of Fall Church Wellness Center and will make it my personal goal to be an asset to the community by providing all of its members with the opportunity to have optimum wellness through chiropractic and holistic care, nutrition, and wellness. I am dedicated to creating a better community, One Spine at a Time!
My approach brings together nutrition with physical activity and how the two can best complement each other. I provide recommendations for existing exercise programs and for those new to fitness. It is important to have professional guidance when beginning or progressing in an exercise program in order to promote adaptation to oxidative stress and to avoid injury. For these reasons, my fitness philosophy centers on progressive stabilization and core training. I combine this with years of clinical research experience in nutrition and food science and professional experience as a fitness trainer. I provide a personal approach that allows a free discussion of all nutrition-related issues in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Specific services (not limited to): nutritional assessment, daily energy need calculation, body fat analysis, meal planning, grocery shopping tips, fitness recommendations, post-workout nutrition tips.
